The “Boldly Say” Challenge
1. Read Luke 12:13-21 – Why do you think we often fall into the trap of believing “just a little bit more” will finally make us feel secure?
2. Hebrews 13:5 – Knowing, “I will never leave you or abandon you”—is the reason we can be satisfied. How does truly believing in God’s constant presence change how you view your bank account or your job security?
3. In the sermon it was said ”Contentment isn’t a duty… it’s a response to His presence.” Share a time when you felt a deep sense of peace or “enough-ness” even though your external circumstances were difficult. What role did God’s presence play in that?
4. Hebrews 13:6 moves from what God says to what we say. Why is it important to verbally declare “The Lord is my helper” when we are feeling afraid or lacking?
5. How can we pray for you?
