What happens to me after I die?

I. For Believers (those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ)
A. Presence with God:
Luke 23:43
43 And he said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
2 Corinthians 5:8
8 In fact, we are confident, and we would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
Philippians 1:22-24
22 Now if I live on in the flesh, this means fruitful work for me; and I don’t know which one I should choose. 23 I am torn between the two. I long to depart and be with Christ — which is far better — 24 but to remain in the flesh is more necessary for your sake.
B. of the Body:
1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
1 Corinthians 15:52
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.
Philippians 3:20-21
20 Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. 21 He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of his glorious body, by the power that enables him to subject everything to himself.
C. in Heaven/New Earth
Revelation 21:3-4
3 Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look, God’s dwelling is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and will be their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.
John 14:2-3
2 “In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 “If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also.
II. For Non-Believers (those who have rejected Jesus Christ)
A. Separation from God (Hades/Torment)
Luke 16:23-24
23 “And being in torment in Hades, he looked up and saw Abraham a long way off, with Lazarus at his side. 24 “‘Father Abraham! ‘ he called out, ‘Have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this flame!
2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
8 when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from his glorious strength
B. Judgment and Punishment
Revelation 20:11-15
11 Then I saw a great white throne and one seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them. 12 I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works by what was written in the books. 13 Then the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them; each one was judged according to their works. 14 Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
Matthew 25:46
“And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
2 Thessalonians 1:9
They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from his glorious strength
