11 Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law because the righteous will live by faith.
Galatians 2:16 CSB – 16 and yet because we know that a person is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we ourselves have believed in Christ Jesus. This was so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law, no human being will be justified.

14 The purpose was that the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles by Christ Jesus so that we could receive the promised Spirit through faith.
2 Principles here
- the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles by Christ Jesus
- We receive the promised Spirit through faith.
Genesis 15:6 CSB – 6 Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
EXPLANATION OF THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT
Genesis 12:1-3 KJV
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

God’s Covenant with Abraham (15-18)
15 Brothers and sisters, I’m using a human illustration. No one sets aside or makes additions to a validated human will. 16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say “and to seeds,” as though referring to many, but referring to one, and to your seed, who is Christ. 17 My point is this: The law, which came 430 years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously established by God and thus cancel the promise. 18 For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise; but God has graciously given it to Abraham through the promise.
Hebrews 6:13 CSB – 13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater to swear by, he swore by himself:
THE LAW DID NOT VOID THE PROMISE THAT WAS GIVEN TO ABRAHAM
